Are you still not sure if you have a valid insurance claim following the recent Supreme Court ruling? We've partnered with a solicitors' firm who could help you claim on your business interruption insurance on a 'no win, no fee' basis.” This also applies even if you have been refused a claim by your insurer...
Bira has received lots of question from members about the recent Supreme Court ruling on insurance claims, and whether this would apply to the members’ policies. To help members we have developed a partnership with a local solicitor who has great knowledge in this area. This legal company, RLK Solicitors, has developed a ‘portal’ that allows you to submit the relevant information. On receiving this, the solicitors will review your policies and assess the possibility of a successful claim.
The deadline for your application to this legal portal is the 8th March. Please make sure that you have all the information ready (your insurance schedule and the policy wording at the time of the first lockdown – e.g. March 2020) when you start the application. It will not take long to complete.
Finally, please note that the legal company operates on a ‘no win no fee basis’, the full terms and conditions are at the end of the application
