We represent independent retail businesses, the wonderfully unique shops on your high streets and in your shopping centres. You may know them by how passionate they are about what they sell and how they contribute to your local community.

So, in what ways does Bira support independent retailers?

We’ve been backing indies since 1900’s and during that time we’ve been fighting for a level playing field within the retail sector. Giving smaller businesses a fair voice against the larger multiples. We influence the media, change Government legislation and provide support on areas of strain like business rates, parking and staffing.
