Bira is thanking the Government for launching its #ShopLocal Week.
The #ShopLocal campaign, which started on Monday (August 10) and runs until Sunday, August 16, aims to celebrate the British high street by encouraging customers to return to their safe, local shops, supporting the local economy and local jobs.
Bira has been supplying its members with toolkits to take part in the scheme, which includes posting their business activities on social media, using the tag #ShopLocal.
Andrew Goodacre, Bira's CEO, said: "We'd like to say thank you to the Government for this extra support which highlights the importance of independent shops and the Great British high street."
